To celebrate the 100th birthday of the world famous HARIBO Goldbears, we initiated an unexpected and spectacular cooperation with the world’s biggest and loudest metal festival – “Wacken Open Air“ – to unveil a special and once-in-a-lifetime edition of Goldbears in black.
HARIBO brings childlike joy to the metal world
In addition to the hardcore limited edition Wacken Goldbears, the integrated campaign also featured a handmade electric guitar in Goldbear shape, the “Defender of Frohsinn“. The daring partnership resonated with millions of metal heads and consumers alike and in the end, HARIBO even set a World Record: The highest air guitar solo of all time.
